Hi and welcome to Life, Set, Travel! Despite having gone on many family vacations as a young child, the travel bug really got to me when I was 20. My journey started only three years ago, and I have not been able to stop filling my passport with stamps and visa’s ever since. I believe that “No place is too far“, hence you’ll find me at some random spots around the world throughout the year.
Life, Set, Travel is a travel blog, run by a full-time analyst (by day), and a two-part blogger by night (Yes, I do run another blog, which I invite you to check out!) Having graduated only a year ago, and working full-time during the day, I am a firm believer that traveling is the one (other) investment that only generates positive returns. As a recent graduate, I am by no means loaded with disposable income to spend as I’d like. With discipline however, I’ve made it my priority to save much of my paycheque as possible, towards traveling. That being said, all of my travels and trips featured here are funded out of my own pocket. Meaning I pay for every single experience that I’ve written about.
Life, Set, Travel is a PR-friendly blog, and any collaboration will be properly disclosed so that you may evaluate the post appropriately. As always, opinions are my own, and not in any way influenced by sponsorships or other types of compensation.
After finishing my studies at one of Canada’s most prestigious business program, I was feeling restless. Not ready to commit to working full-time, and at the same time feeling that restlessness and “itchy feet” that any wanderluster would know. So I booked my tickets, packed my bags, phone and camera, and jetted off to a new place out of my comfort zone!
I have a strong passion for traveling and meeting people, as well as an endless curiosity for world culture, and global development. My ambition is to see, learn and spread the words about social issues and motivate as many people to be more cognizant and involved in developing solutions to address these challenges.
I believe in the power of stories: by putting my personal experience, I hope to inspire others to act. I believe in the power of knowledge and action: to collectively inspire progressive movements towards positive change. My life’s goal is to be a global citizen, to be able to call not just one city as my home, but to call the world as home.
I have a long list of places to visit, so I hope this blog is here to stay. Join me as I cross borders, climb hills, and trek across different countries. Follow me as I test my endurance to its limits, fill my passport with stamps, and visa’s and explore as many places as I possibly can before settling into an office job.
I am ready to go out there and conquer as many places as I possibly can. I am forever grateful to my parents and family who have instilled the desire to travel, and for being supportive of me as I leave the comfort of my home to the unknown places abroad.
